Disneysea!
It was a really sunny day, hopefully for us! We got up at 6am to leave the house at 7am, so we could get fast passes at Disneysea. And this is the first time we experienced rushing hours! Everyone was pushing to get in the train omg!!! And I’m still wondering how come we went to Disneysea a weekday but there was so many school students there? I thought they started school on the 7th of April XD but anyway, we arrived there at 8:50 or something like that so the doors were still closed. And the queues were huge! But when it opened, we didn’t wait long to get in the park. It was really surprising. We then rushed to the famous attraction Journey to the center of the Earth. We first wanted to get fast pass but the waiting time was only 5 minutes! So we get in the queue XD we really were lucky xD and the attraction is really well made! But well, it’s not really a roller coaster, more of a discovery then just a little surprising fall but nothing more. But I really enjoyed the attraction for the animations inside the attraction ^__^ We then went to the next famous one: Tower of Terror. The waiting time was 40-60minutes XD but we didn’t really “wait”. The queue was moving fast and there were so many things to see and so many details on the decorations that we didn’t see the time passing. Also there is some “introduction” in japanese to get you in the atmosphere. So it was really entertaining. The attraction in itself isn’t really fast or anything and Dave couldn’t really feel anything from it. But we got a nice view on top ahahhaha. Also, something that really surprised us is that all the attractions don’t have any luggage lockers. So we had to keep our stuff with us. Maybe that’s the reason why there is no high speed roller coaster. We then went for Raging Spirits, a 360°loop roller coaster. Well, kind of. I’m used to more speedy one so this one didn’t really impressed me and the 360° was really a small one ahahhaha. Nothing beats the Steel Dragon 2000 from Nagashima resort XD
Dave’s friend then joined us at that time and since she isn’t really a roller coaster kind of girl, we just did some small attraction. Well, every attraction were not really speedy ones so … We also discovered that Japan has so many different flavors of popcorn!!! In Belgium, we only have sugar or salt ones… so we tried in Disneysea some curry popcorn! Ahahahha Dave was in the 7th heaven XD it was spicy and too salty though. Then we discovered the best popcorn ever: caramel!!! Omg I bought three boxes that day XD. At 1pm, we moved to the parade. It was really nice and everyone was really mesmerized by the attires. But even though the day waw sunny, it was kind of cold so we took a break in a cafe. And I ate a cheesecake. Yeah, well, those who knows me know that I don’t like cheesecake but this one was good because it was more of a simple cake than a cheesecake ahahahhaaa. We then went for other attractions like Stormrider and ToyStory Mania but the sun was already setting when we did Stormrider. So we just went shopping and I bought a Little Green Men patterned pants for my brother and same pattern but on a card case for me so I can put my transportation card on me for more easy access xD
We then waited quietly for the finale animation: parade, fireworks etc at night! It was a blast!!! Have I told you it was my first time in a Disney park? Well, the real first time was when I was 1y/o so it doesn’t count… but I was sooooo mesmerized by the show! Sooo good! With real flames, a giant dragon, a lot of water animation,… it will be my most beautiful memory of that day *–* it made me want to rewatch some Disney movies ahahaaha XD
After the show, we waited again for other fireworks. It was really cool but it was really getting colder and colder. So after it finished, everyone rushed to the train XD
We got home at 22! It was really a long day but surprisingly, I was less tired than when we got 4-6hours visiting and sightseeing Kyoto XD

Day 25
Didn’t do much, Dave didn’t want to go out and he just wanted to lay in bed. So I went out alone at Harajuku, at the 4stories Daiso. I spent money there for a friend who wanted shikishi xD I was too lazy and too packed to go to Sekaido… and I also found some nice souvenirs for my family ^__^ Then I went back home and we both went for a curry again. We wanted to try a new shop: Go Go Curry! It was good but I still prefer CocoIchiban curry. We were at Shibuya and we saw a Mandarake, anime shop with a variety of goodies, and stopped there a bit to look around… and left with figurines XD

Day 26
We went to Asakusa for the Hana matsuri but it was pouring rain and so cold! Like 3°C… Π_Π they gave some free orchids and sweet tea. But we really didn’t stay long, so cold! But we tried kaitensushi that day ^__^

Daytrip
It was a nice day and we attended an event at Zozoji temple. There was different ceremonies like the Lion dance, walkshow of different monks with singing, a prayer from a high priest,… it was interesting but too long and since I don’t understand it we didn’t stay long. We then went to the Tokyo tower that was really close by to enter the One Piece attraction. We had bought our tickets some days ago at a 7-eleven at 3000¥/pers instead of 3200¥ at the attraction’s counter. We had to choose an hour to enter the attraction though so we chose 16-18h… and we shouldn’t have bought in advance. Once we arrived, everyone who has bought in advance has to wait in line to enter at 16… well more like 16:15 for us since we had to go exchange our tickets for another qr ticket at the counter… we saw people buying their on-the-same-day ticket at the machine and they didn’t have to get on any queue at all… so my advice is to pay those 200¥ more and avoid the queue and enjoying the attraction with less people. So when we finally went in, there was some kind of exposition with One Piece pages and some lighting. The attraction were a bit disappointing. Well, it was aimed for kids but as a fan, I thought there would be more entertaining. The Chopper attraction wasn’t good, it was all in japanese and we don’t really understand what was going on. The interior of the ship was well reproduced though. Then we went to an horror mansion with Brook. But not really horror-like XD I just got surprised when some wind came from nowhere…  and there was a big figurine, lifesized I think, of Perona. Really well made but the attraction in itself isn’t worth it. We entered then the Zoro attraction but omg… the queue… almost waited 30-40min… and only for 5 min of sword swinging… and I really hoped they made some english explanation…. Π_Π We then did Usop’s game, a shooting one. The wait wasn’t long and it was fun. Even if I’m really bad at aiming XD after that, we didn’t have much to do since the Robin’s quest was a 30min long and I think it was all in japanese so not really interesting for us. Also, the Nami’s was too crowded! So we gave up since we didn’t have that much time, we had a meeting on the evening. So we left Tokyo Tower (Mugiwara shop didn’t got as many goodies I’d like… was searching for tees but none was worth enough to pay these high prices). We headed then for Asakusa to meet Dave’s friend. We ate Yakiniku! First time ever and the meat were so good!

Daytrip
Special festival today: fertility festival, or Kanamara Matsuri that can be translated by the iron penis festival XD We went to the temple early but it was already super crowded… and we weren’t lucky at all since it poured rain all day long… The temple had many stalls with penis or vagina shapped stuff like a whistle penis shape xD and there were lot of people cosplaying as a penis too… but since it was really crowded and I couldn’t see anything because I’m short and there were so many umbrellas, we went to Akihabara.
We went to Maidreamin, a really famous maid cafe. Dave went there on his first trip to Japan but apparently it wasn’t called Maidreamin and it has changed a lot since there. I took an bear-shaped omurice and he took the curry, as usual ahahaa xD they’re really playing the maid at the maximum, they put some animal headband on us and then they asked us to mimic some moves to make our dish more delicious. Like “oishii moe moe kyuuuun~~” while forming a heart with our hands. It’s really a nice experience but really expensive so I won’t recommend going there often. We got lucky too because we could attend to a live show from one of the maid. She waw dancing and singing and we noticed a customer mimicing the moves like her XD really synchronized! He must be a loyal customer xD
After that little show, we finished our dish and asked to get a picture with one of the maid. It was counted on the price when you take a debut set (Dave took it).
Then it was time for Akiba shopping! We went to lot of figurines shops and Dave spent so much XD As for me, I found a beautiful Tony Tony Chopper *–*

Daytrip
We met Dave’s friends early in the morning at the Okayama station, 10min walk from our accomodation. Waki and his boyfriend met David in Belgium and he showed them around so this time, it was their turn to show us around Tokyo eheheheh ^__^
We first went to Tsukiji market, a really well-known fish market where a lot of auctions are happening every morning for the restaurants. It’s happening reallyyyy early so we couldn’t attend the auctions. The market smells fishy (ahahha i’m so funny) and there is an inner market aimed for professionals then an outside market for tourist. Waki recommended us a good tea seller and it was really good! With only 300gr, you can last really long XD then we went to eat some fish: otoro and tuna! The otoro is the fatty part of the tuna and its color is lighter, pinkish. We got a set at 2000¥ that we ate together, the four of us. I really liked the otoro, more than the tuna. I’m not especially fond of tuna but the otoro is so different and we ate it raw so we could really taste the otoro. After that, we went to take the tea at a tea house recommended by the tea seller. On our way to the tea house, we stopped at a temple, that I can’t remember the name, but it was really big and the outside is really different from the traditionnal temples we’ve seen. There was a funeral so we didn’t stay long in there. When we arrived at the tea house, we first paid 500¥ each then went upstairs. I first thought it was an entrance fee but it was actually the price for two cups of tea and a wagashi, a japanese sweet. The shop doesn’t make any profit, apparently, the sweet in itself cost already 300¥!
After a relaxing moment a the teahouse, we went to eat at a sukiyaki restaurant in a really traditionnal room. We ate on tatami and omg, I had to change position every 10min xD my legs were itchy XD I really do have bad blood circulation Π_Π the waitresses were in kimono and the service was really traditionnal. We had to remove our shoes, take slippers, remove them when we entered the tatami room… that restaurant offered a sukiyaki lunch set (side dishes, dessert, rice, miso soup and the sukiyaki pot) at 1500¥. The usual price at night goes up to ten times the lunch price!!!! Crazy, right? I couldn’t even finish my plate, it was too much and my belly was going to explode XD
We then went to Edo Museum, a really nice museum that has reproduced a small part of a village from the Edo era. It was really well made. And informative too since there is lot of guides there that can also speak english. We could enter the houses and they will explain to us the whys and hows of some tools. We then went to Shibuya and she showed me the Hachiko shop that we couldn’t find before lol. We then went to Meguro river again and this time for the night time and waouh! This is really different than when we went there at day time. So lively and with so many food and alcohol stands! We ate a oden snack near the canal and we seated like yankees ahahahahahah. It was then time to go to the sushi bar Waki, Dave’s friend, always goes to. It was a small restaurant but really nice sushi and decorations! The big difference in the sushi making from Belgium and here is that they put wasabi between the rice and the fish in Japan. We don’t in Belgium so Dave and I weren’t used to eating so much wasabi! We were crying at every bite XD

Daytrip
We went for Odaiba again today but this time, not for the Anime Japan. We were going to Fuji TV and to the Trick art museum. It was so windy!!! Omg so difficult to walk normally XD so it was really difficult to take outside pictures. There is a themed restaurant in the Fuji TV: the Baratie, a One Piece restaurant. We wanted to go eat there but it was too pricey so we just took picture of the building lol (the entrance was outside the building in the fourth floor I think so no proper pictures with me and lifesized Chopper Π_Π ). There was lot of goodies inside Fuji TV with a One Piece room. I have fangirl-ed so much xD but so pricey!!! But hopefully, I have my picture with Chopper on a special One Piece themed-purikura! Π_Π then we went to the Trick Art museum in front of the Fuji TV, near Joypolis. We didn’t go to Joypolis but in the third floor where there is lot of games. There was a “lucky box” game, really fun xD I’ve spent too much time there (and money lol) before going to the Trick Art Museum. It was a fabulous museum! So well done, so well painted, so good! *—-* it is a must see if you guys plan to go to Odaiba!

Daytrip
Kamakura day! It was too hot and too crowded. Also the middle path that goes from the station to the main temple attraction was closed due to work… and it was a venue full of cherry trees (well on poster… because I think they removed them =_=). And not much to say today. We went temple sightseeing and getting lost ahahaha Also, it was litteraly a shitty dau for me… let me explain… I was looking around and saw a flag full of bird poo and wanted to show it to Dave like “hey look here, it’s full of poo!”. AND THEN at the same instant I said it, a bird pooed on my head. It fucking knows our language!! Beware of birds. They’re really dangerous. Then we just went for a pizza XD
