Daytrip
We did a sakura trip this day so we can enjoy all the sakura while they last. We first went to Sumida park. It was alongside a canal when there were a lot of water bus. The day was so bright but not sunny, more misty than anything, the light hurt my eyes XD We went early so there weren’t many people but we could see that the day before, there were a lot of activities… so many trash bags XD there is also a pond there with many uh sperm-shaped fishes? I don’t know what they were xD We also ate some takoyaki and went to the next stop: Hamarikyu garden. It was rather cheap and we got a free audio guide! And waouh, their audio guide is nice! They autoplay when we arrive at a new point and there is also video and a gps map that show your location and the path to follow. Really ingenious and there were a lot of people too. The course was a 90minutes one and it was worth it, except the fact that it began to rain a little XD but it’s fine. I really like the bridges and the tea houses even if I didn’t enter since it was pricey imho. And the 300year pine! It waw majestic *–*
We then went to Shinjukugyoen. Yup, lot of park to have our, like Dave likes to say it, “sakura porn”. We were tired already when we arrived and it’s really curious but they put a control system before entering the garden. We have to show the insides of our bags, just like in the airport… so weird XD And there were a lot of different sakura species there but we were tired, we couldn’t enjoy it… so we went to Artnka cafe. The themed cafe from Square Enix! It really is a small cafe, only 6 tables of 2 xD we were lucky *-* we both went for a parfait, even if the day was shilly. I got a strawberry one with a panna cotta at the bottom, then vanilla icecream, strawberry fruits, strawberry sauce,… and on top, Aerith’s ribbon! Dave went for a matcha parfait with chocolate shuriken to remind of Yuffie! ^__^ it was good. I think I’m starting to like their way of eating cornflakes and vanilla icecream XD

La journée
Nous avons fait une journée complète axée sur les sakuras donc beaucoup de parcs ! On a commencé avec le parc Sumida qui se trouve près d’un canal avec plein de bateaux-mouche. Il faisait très (trop) lumineux et il y avait pourtant un peu de brouillard… on pouvait voir le skytree de là où l’on était. Nous sommes arrivés assez tôt donc il n’y avait pas encore beaucoup de monde. Mais on peut voir que c’était vachement animé la veille… il y avait plein de sacs poubelles xD il y a aussi un très joli étang avec des poissons noirs en forme de… sperm ? Je sais pas du tout ce que c’est XD on a mangé quelques takoyakis dans le parc puis on est allé au Hamarikyu. C’était pas cher et on avait droit à un audio-guide gratuit ! Et il était vachement bien fait. Il se met en route automatiquement dès qu’il repère un nouveau point. Il y avait aussi des vidéos explicatives ainsi qu’une carte qui reprend notre position et le chemin à suivre. Il y avait différents parcours et on a fait celui de 90 minutes… la dame ne nous a pas laissé le choix xD elle a appuyé direct sur le parcours 90minutes qui est le plus complet pour découvrir le jardin. Hélas, il a commencé à pleuvoir un peu… J’ai quand même bien aimé les ponts, la vue qu’on a sur ces ponts ainsi que les maisons de thé. Et surtout le pin tricentenaire ! Vraiment majestueux *–*
Nous avons ensuite été au Shinjukugyoen mais on était vraiment crevé. Et ce qui est assez étonnant avec ce parc, c’est qu’il y a un contrôle avant d’entrer dans le parc, le même genre qu’on a dans les aéroports… Il y avait beaucoup de différentes sortes de sakuras mais on n’a pas pu vraiment en profiter… on est donc allé se reposer au Artnia cafe ! Il s’agit d’un café à thème de Square Enix. Beaucoup de goodies et très peu de place pour prendre un café… il devait y avoir en tout 6 tables de deux… On a vraiment eu de la chance d’avoir de la place xD Nous avons pris tous les deux un parfait, fraise pour moi et matcha pour Dave. Glace vanille avec coulis de fraise, un petit massepain en forme de noeud (clin d’oeil à Aerith), des cornflakes et le tout sur une pannacotta ! Le parfait de Dave avait un shuriken en chocolat pour rappeler Yuffie. C’était bon et je pense vraiment que je commence à aimé de plus en plus leur combo cornflakes et glace vanille XD
